This is sockcom rev.0.3 by Kadir Mueller 2006-2020. sockcom is just an simple, tiny utility to connect your terminal to an UNIX domain socket. For example, you can use it for connecting to virtual serial ports of QEMU-processes. It's just depending on your local libc. A binary compiled on amd64-CentOS is contained within the archive. For building it yourself with gcc, just do an "make clean" followed by "make all". sockcom doesn't utilize things like autoconf, so you will have to adjust the Makefile to your own needs if you want to build with another compiler. Usage: sockcom [SOCKET-PATH] <[LOGFILE]> After starting successfully, you can quit from sockcom by waiting for 2 seconds and then entering ^] (the telnet command-sequence) followed by a single '.' Please see http://www.theflatnet.de/sockcom/ for license and more information.
