Introduction
============

This is version 0.9 of xotpcalc, an X11/Motif one-time password calculator
compatible with S/Key and OPIE calculators. See the "Installation" section
in this file for building and installation instructions.

Xotpcalc has been tested and is known to work on the following platforms:

	Linux/i386
	Solaris 2.5.1
	IRIX 5.3
	Digital UNIX 3.2

The code shouldn't be difficult to port to any modern UNIX. The only
requirement is an ANSI compiler with ANSI-compatible libraries.

Installation
============

Three steps:

	o Edit the Makefile and choose installation directories and
	  compiler/linker flags.

	o make.

	o (Possibly after su-ing to root) make install.

After that, read the manual page and/or the application defaults file.
You should be able to use the program right away.

Bugs and To-Do
==============

There shouldn't be any serious bugs in the program, but only time and
testing can tell. Personally, I am satisfied with the present features
and I don't think that much can be added or taken away. I am releasing
the code so that it can be tried out. If there is enough interest,
I am sure that useful suggestions will crop up.
