This facility allows you to search for the occurence of a text string, both in
file names, and in any description lines we have given the files.

You have to put the text pattern you want searched for between slashes, which
means that you are allowed to put any characters you like in there, including
spaces and the ? and * wildcards. It does not matter whether you type in
lower case or capitals because the search ignores case. Don't forget if you
have put spaces, the search will actually try to match those spaces, so make
sure that everything between those // is intended!

Example: You type /gif/ and you will get a list which will include spock1.gif
because 'gif' is in its name, AND vig40.zip because the second file has a
description line which says it is a gif viewer.

The list appears in columns, the first column is the name of the area the file
is stored in, and the rest of the line is information about the file. You
can't download the files you have just found from here - you have to enter the
file store of that particular area.
