(1) OVERVIEW
============

This README explains how to install the SKDRV.LAN driver on a
NetWare 4 server.
***

(2) FILES NEEDED
================

- MSM.NLM (version 2.20 or higher)

- ETHERTSM.NLM (version 2.20 or higher)

- SKDRV.LAN
***

(3) INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
=============================

Please use the INSTALL.NLM to install the driver. If you are unsure about
how to use this NLM, please look into its (printed) documentation or use the
online help.

(4) DRIVER PARAMETERS
=====================

- On a microchannel machine with an SK-NET MC2+ inserted you may use the
  keyword MEDIUM (with the possible values AUI, THIN and 10BT) to select
  the used interface (the value configured with the configuration utility
  is changed temporarily).

- On an EISA machine you may use the keyword IG to use other parameters than
  you selected in the EISA configuration utility.

  NOTE: IG replaces the former keyword IGNORE_CONFIG. We chose to reduce the
	command line length to avoid problems with software that has its own
	configuration functionality.
	IG=N and IG not being present on the command line mean: DO NOT ignore
	the EISA configuration.
	All other values are mean: DO ignore the EISA configuration.

  Please use this keyword only if you encounter problems with the selected
  EISA configuration.
  In order to avoid EISA configuration mismatches, we highly recommend
  that you use the appropriate board configuration file (.cfg) and
  configuration utility to set the PC system resources.

  INFO:	Number of RCBs with multiple fragments. Seldom.

- SQE Test Errs
  WARN:	Transmitter detected bad signal quality on cable.

- Intern Rx Errs
  WARN:	Packets missed.

- Intern Tx Errs
  WARN:	Transmit packet too big.
